Is evvnly really free?
Yes. Groups, expenses, settling up, offline sync, multi-currency, and CSV export are free forever. There are no daily caps, you don't need a credit card, and we won't quietly take features away later.
Do my friends need an account to join a group?
On the free plan, yes: friends create a free evvnly account to join your group. With Plus or a Trip Pass they can skip that. Send each friend a personal link and they're in, no account needed.
What does evvnly Plus include?
Share links so friends can join without an account, receipt scanning, live exchange rates, recurring bills, group insights and My Spending, budgets, more photos per expense with 2 GB of storage, PDF and Excel export, and expense approvals. Get it for yourself, monthly or yearly, or as Household for you and two people you live with. For a one-off trip, a Trip Pass gives everyone in one group Plus there for 30 days, and each of them two weeks of Plus in all their groups, once.
Does evvnly move my money?
No, and it never will. evvnly works out who pays whom and how much. You settle in cash, by bank transfer, or however your group already pays each other, and we never hold your money.
What happens to my data?
We don't sell it, and we don't build advertising profiles from it. evvnly is paid for by subscriptions, and you can export everything as CSV any time.
What currencies does evvnly support?
Any currency. On the free plan you set the exchange rate yourself; Plus fetches live rates for you.
Does evvnly work for just two people?
Yes. A couple splitting rent works the same way as twenty friends on a trip, and you can split with one person without making a group at all. If you both want Plus, Household covers three people on one bill for €3.99 a month.
